Summer 2007

Children of the Court - Heritage Festival

Our sightseeing group on choir tour.

Seattle Space Needle

Seattle Fish Market

Government Building - Victoria, B.C., Canada

Butchart Gardens, Victoria, B.C., Canada

The summer is becoming a blur! Cheryl participated in Heritage again as chair of Children of the Court. (Girls pictured above - dresses chosen and/or designed by Lindsay Vineyard and Cheryl.) She gave up the escort committee last fall which was a good thing with the new job and move!

FBC Nac. Choir tour to Seattle and Victoria, B.C. began a week after Heritage and lasted 11 days. Cheryl was the accompanist for this trip and Irby was in charge of the Stix, who did several really nice selections. We had a great group of students on the trip; the ones pictured above were our sightseeing companions, and we thoroughly enjoyed them.

The Fish Market is a very popular site in Seattle - and very entertaining when the workers start throwing those fish around! See video below!

The pictures of the fabulous flowers and trees are from Butchart Gardens in Victoria, B.C., Canada. It is a place of incredible beauty, beyond your wildest imagination. The flowers are so
awesome and of such variety. The Gardens go on for acres and there are various sections! If you ever get close (or within 500 miles!) it is SO worth seeing!!

We'll be back and forth between Arlington and Nac. this summer.
