Irby at St. Patrick's Cathedral~He had recently worked in
Milwaukee with His Excellency Timothy Dolan, just before
Dolan was appointed by Pope Benedict XVI to become the
archbishop of NYC. Dolan's welcome is on the board behind Irby.

Linda and I at the Swarovski Crystal Shop in Rockafeller
Center. The bench we're sitting on and the hanging beads
behind us are made completely of crystals.

The fabulous Statue of Liberty
Andrea Bocelli - the MOST exquisitely beautiful concert
ever - SEVEN encores! The audience was extremely appreciative.

The fifth of seven encores - the famous "Nessum Dorma"

We had the opportunity to go back to NYC shortly after returning from Cancun. NYC is a HUGE favorite place of ours. We got to go with some of our very favorite people too - our FBC Nac pastor, Allen Reed, and his sweet wife, Linda. Allen was on a 10 week sabbatical. We had so much fun!!! We saw places we'd never seen and enjoyed revisiting places we love most. The Andrea Bocelli concert at Madison Sq Gardens was an experience of a lifetime.
The Statue of Liberty evokes patriotic feelings in the most unemotional. Linda and I broke out in "My Country "Tis of Thee." You can't help yourself! We took an entire day to go through Central Park. We'd been to parts of it before, but never taken a full day. In the Park, it's hard to believe you're really in NYC! We'll go to NY in the drop of a hat! Anyone wanna go???
