A little alcohol WAS involved for some people in these pictures! At least one person was stone sober, but it doesn't help him behave much better! HA!! We had a fun evening with Danny, Phyllis, Jerry, and Brenda. We've known Jerry and Brenda for years because Jerry is Phyllis' brother. Irby and Jerry have been in local churches, consumed with responsibility or traveling, so we've had little chance to socialize. We want to do it again! We had dinner at Cha Cha's and came home to watch a football game and the Times Square New Year's program. (We were in Times Square with our kids on New Year's Eve 2008!!) We brought in the New Year 2009 with noisemakers on the patio; none of my traditional pan-beating because the pans reserved for that are still packed! Wishing everyone a productive, successful, God-filled, love filled, and family filled 2009.
