And we're off...

...to the Emerald Isle! It took us awhile to get everyone to Boston where we'll board Aer Lingus, an Irish airline. Daddy and Joyce had two flights cancelled to Dallas yesterday; we finally had to route them straight to Boston through Chicago. Kim was also routed from Charlotte straight to Boston instead of Dallas. Needless to say, we were all glad to finally get together in Boston!

We will primarily visit the western and southern counties of Ireland, including the cities of Shannon, Killarney, Blarney, Cobh, Waterford, Kilkenny, Limerick, Glaway, Clifden, and Bunratty. We will drive the Ring of Kerry, see the Killarney National Park, kiss the Blarney Stone at Blarney Castle, visit the seaside village of Cobh, tour the Waterford factory, see a traditional Irish music concern at Bunratty Castle, see the Cliffs of Moher, Kylemore Abbey and the Twelves Bens Mountains...and who know what else? I hope to send pictures and blog every other day. Sometimes overseas blogging works. Using a foreign internet connection and/or uploading pictures can sometimes be challenging, but we're sure going to try. Keep you fingers crossed and stay tuned!
